  Alonate-P horse wormer contains pyrantel embonate and is used for the treatment of adult infections of large and small redworms, ascarids and pinworms found in the gastrointestinal tract of horses, ponies and foals. Alonate-P also treats and controls tapeworm infection with the use of a double dose. Pyrantel embonate has a broad spectrum of activity, including against large strongyles, small strongyles, pinworms, large roundworms and tapeworms.   Vectin Horse Wormer is a flavoured paste containing ivermectin for the treatment of infestations in horses caused by internal parasites including small and large redworms, lungworms, pinworms and bots.

  Each tube is sufficient to treat 600kg of bodyweight.

  POM-VPS products will be dispensed in three specific scenarios:

  1. The patient is currently under the care of Farr and Pursey Equine, has been seen by one of the veterinary surgeons and consequently prescribed the product. This also includes the provision of ongoing medication for long term conditions (which are subject to individual case review before being issued).
  2. A veterinary prescription has been issued and has been reviewed by a dispensing veterinary surgeon within Farr & Pursey Equine.
  3. You have filled out the online form at checkout to show you understand how and when to use this product.

  Prascend 1mg Tablets

  Order the number of tablets you require. A full box contavins 160 x 1mg tablets. This product is classified as POM-V. POM-V products can only be dispensed in two specific scenarios:

  1. The patient is currently under the care of Farr and Pursey Equine, has been seen by one of the veterinary surgeons and consequently prescribed the product.   Prascend is used for the symptomatic treatment of clinical signs associated with Pituitary Pars Intermedia Dysfunction (PPID) (Equine Cushing’s Disease).
