Brief info
Covadonga Gómez Escribano (BVetMed, MRCVS, Cert AVP, PgCertVPS), graduated from the University of Madrid (UCM) in 2018. She volunteered as a pathology undergraduate intern for 3 years whilst joining different equine clinicians in the ambulatory practice. After graduating, she undertook an externship in Ireland before enrolling an internship in equine medicine and surgery, followed by a second internship in equine sports medicine and orthopaedics, where she became FEI Permitted Treating Vet.
Covadonga has a keen interest in ophthalmology and diagnostic imaging, which keeps her close to both medicine and orthopaedics. During the last years, Covadonga has been working to become CertAVP whilst working in the UK as an equine vet, covering the area between the East and South East of England. During her free time you may find her walking in the countryside or enjoying some good English chocolate!
