Endocrinology
Endocrinology – surely you have heard or dealt with conditions such as EMS and Cushing Syndrome (PPID). These are endocrinologic conditions that we detect very often. It is key to detect, treat and monitor these conditions before we have the sensibly feared laminitis.
Loss of weight
Loss of weight – the list of potential causes of loss of weight can seem endless. A good clinical history along out clinical exam can guide the diagnosis, often with the help of tests such as blood work, worm testing and diagnostic imaging.

Pain management – from the internal medicine point of view, we can understand the causes behind the pain in more complex cases. By understanding these causes and physiologic routes, we can elect different pain relief modalities to achieve the most complete effect.


Referral
Referral – critical cases may need intensive monitoring and care. For those in need, we are in close contact with referral centres of the area. Critical cases can be then followed up and treated 24/7 under the hands of internal medicine specialists.
