The primary characteristics of tendons and ligaments is an alliance of delicate fibres which have, under normal circumstances, great strength and elasticity. However, they are also subject to significant strain during exercise. In the event of a tendon injury, the challenge for veterinary surgeons is to encourage the formation of new tendon fibres rich in type-I collagen, which has unique strength and elasticity forming properties, so as to minimise the risk of relapse. These critical periods require specific nutritional support.

EKYFLEX TENDON EVO is a complementary feed formulated by AUDEVARD Laboratories. It is designed to provide nutritional support for horse’s tendons and ligaments.

EKYFLEX TENDON EVO’s new formula allows triple action for horses’ tendons and ligaments:
• Create high quality collagen (thanks to the Tendogen I® and White Willow) • Optimise the tendon and ligament environment (thanks to Boswellia serrata and citrus, rich in flavonoids)
• Consolidate the attachment of tendons and ligaments to the bone (thanks to Vitamin D3)

EKYFLEX TENDON EVO can be used to support tendons and ligaments: • when a horse is in work.
• during the recovery phase following a tendon injury.

• Support dose: 1 measure once a day during periods of competition, intense activity or for 1 to 2 months before an event. The dose can be doubled on the advice of your veterinarian.
• Maintenance dose: 1 half-measure during non-intensive periods.
For ponies, halve the dose: support 1⁄2 measure; maintenance 1⁄4 measure.

1 measure = 30 g.
