  Equest contains moxidectin and is one of the few wormers licensed to control the important encysted larval stages of small red worms. It has a long period of anti-worm activity after the dose has been given (13 weeks) and so helps to reduce pasture contamination. Equest is also less toxic to the natural beetles and other insects which help to break up the dung on the pasture, compared with ivermectin-based products. This means that pastures tend to remain cleaner and healthier where the dung is not collected from the field. Equest Pramox also contains praziquantel which is provided for tapeworm control. Equest Pramox, in a single dose, controls the potentially dangerous small red worms, all other roundworms including pinworm, bots and all three types of tapeworm. One dose can be given every three months to protect the health of your horse, providing exceptionally good control of all these major parasites.   Alonate-P horse wormer contains pyrantel embonate and is used for the treatment of adult infections of large and small redworms, ascarids and pinworms found in the gastrointestinal tract of horses, ponies and foals. Alonate-P also treats and controls tapeworm infection with the use of a double dose. Pyrantel embonate has a broad spectrum of activity, including against large strongyles, small strongyles, pinworms, large roundworms and tapeworms.   Panacur 5 Day Guard Wormer

  Panacur is a widely used and very popular broad spectrum wormer. Using the highly active Fenbendazole, Panacur treats and controls migrating larval and adult stages of all main species of Roundworms, in addition to destroying worm eggs. Given as a single dose or over five days for best results against migrating and encysted larvae, Panacur offers reliable results and is available in an unflavoured paste form.

  For the treatment and control of adult and immature roundworms of the gastro-intestinal tract in horses and other equines. The product is effective for the treatment and control of encysted mucosal 3rd and 4th stage small strongyle larvae and is also effective against encysted inhibited 3rd stage small strongyle larvae in the mucosa. The product is also effective in controlling other immature and mature roundworms including large redworm (Strongylus edentatus and Strongylus vulgaris) and migrating large redworm, Ascarids (Parascaris equorum), Oxyuris and Strongyloides species and benzimidazole-susceptible adult and immature small strongyles.
